<div itemprop="description">85 years, passed away suddenly on September 1, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Vina (nee Drouillard) (2010). Loving father of Marlene Roy (Greg), Terry Gauthier (Irene), Ken Gauthier (Twyla), late Ron Gauthier (2013) and Elaine Baird (Ken). Predeceased by parents Noah and Annie Gauthier. Cherished grandfather to Melissa (Jaimie), Ken (Erin), Jeff (Jenn), Camiel (Lori), Brenda (Tim), Jennifer (Justin), Crystal (Ryan), Kylene, Shawn (Cassandra), Ashley, Adam (Bailey), late Matthew (1985) and loving great-grandpa of Joshua, Ryan, Lucas, Alyssa, Joshua, Alexis, Makaela, Kalib, Juliana, Kayleigh, Nathan, Raelyn, Easton, Layla, Matthew and Jake. Survived by sisters Adeline (Bob), Lily Ann (late Francis), Helen (Bob), Alice (late Ed), Andrea and brother Bernard (Barbara) and predeceased by sisters Jeannette (late Aurele), Mary (late Vic) and brothers Robert, Gilbert (late Laurette), Archie (late Claudia), Norm (Pat), Albert (Dorothy) and Leo (late Carol). Also survived by sister in law Ann (Ernie). Ernest will be missed by many brothers and sisters in law, family and friends. Ernest was an active member with the K of C Fr. A. Nolan Council 9865 for the past 14 years. Visiting will be held at Marcotte Funeral Home (12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh 519-735-2830) on Thursday and Friday from 2-5 p.m. &amp; 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Friday at 3:30 p.m. and K of C prayers Friday at 7:30 p.m. Visiting will continue at St. Anne&rsquo;s Church on Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment St. Anne&rsquo;s Cemetery.
