First born son of Anne (nee Kelly) and George Acheson. Predeceased by wife of 49 years JoAnne (nee Lauzon) (2002) and daughter Sandra Abdeh (2002), granddaughter Shawna (2005) and brother Anson (2006). Dearly loved father of Victoria Pawluski (Rod) of Surrey, BC, David Atcheson (Martina), Karen Vachon (Marc), Colleen McDonald (Jamie), Shelley Abray (Charlie) of Edmonton, AB, Connie John (George). Father-in-law to Basil Abdeh. Dearest friend to Olive's children; Gregory Longeuay, Scott Longeuay (Sue) and family, Caroline Longeuay, Denise Dykema (Harry) and family. Cherished P&eacute;p&eacute; to 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother to Gary (Rose) of New Glasgow, NS, Bob (Fran) of Charlot, NB, Peter (Carol) of St. Stephen, NB, Ann Snow (Roger) of Lincoln, NB, Linda Feltmate and Dianne McFarlane. Brother-in-law to Ella Acheson of St. Stephen, NB, Betty Norry (Glen) of Jackson, MI, Jackie Wise (Tom) of Calgary, AB and Dick Lauzon (Jan) of Ottawa. Ron will be missed by many wonderful in-law relatives in the Lauzon, Prieur, Gagne Families. Ron enjoyed sports of all kinds and especially enjoyed singing for many years with the Windsor Sunparlour Barbershop Chorus and the &quot;Slo-Pitch Four&quot; Quartet. He was employed in the Maintenance Dept at Ford Motor Co. for 37 years. A life Member of K of C Bishop John T. Kidd Council 4924. Ron was very fortunate to meet a wonderful, kind and caring lady who took good care of him in his dotage - Thank You Olive Booker. Visiting will be held at Marcotte Funeral Home &amp; Chapel (12105 Tecumseh Rd. Tecumseh 519-735-2830) on Monday from 2-5 p.m. &amp; 7-9 p.m. A service to celebrate Ron's life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. Fr. Mike Prieur officiating. Cremation to follow and the interment of Ron's cremated remains will take place at St. Anne's Cemetery at a later date. In kindness, memorial donations to the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Ron's last words were, &quot;Don't weep for me - I had a long wonderful life.
