<div itemprop="description">Rose Dorner February 5, 1931 – February 11, 2017 Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the age of 86. Beloved wife to the late George Dorner (Aug 22, 2014). Loving mother of Elizabeth, George (Marlene), Philip (Janice), James (Annette) and the late Barbara (1957). Cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Louis Cavallaro (Florine) the late Letizia and Philip. A special thanks to St. Elizabeth Nurses, Stephanie, Dave & Tyson for their love, care and compassion. Rose will also be missed by dear friends Margaret and Ted Kummer for over 60 years. A special thank you to Vicky Hrywkiw for her great home care and dear friendship. And also from friend Gloria Dagenais for all her help. Rose was past president of the Ladies Auxiliary, organist and Choir director, member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the 51 cards club. Rose was an avid volunteer for Meals On Wheels, door to door cancer campaign collector, driver for cancer patients to hospital for treatments, and visited sick patients in hospitals and homes. Visitation will take place at Marcotte Funeral Home 12105 Tecumseh Rd 519-735-2830 on Tuesday February 14, 2017 from 2pm - 5pm and 7pm - 9pm. Afternoon parish prayers beginning at 4pm. At 7pm the ladies auxiliary organization and St. Vincent de Paul will conduct prayers followed by visitation. On Wednesday February 15 from noon to 12:30pm visitation at the funeral home and mass beginning at 1pm with a procession from the funeral home to Good Shepherd Parish St. Gregory Site. Donations made to Good Shepherd Parish Building fund, St. Vincent De Paul or Hospice of Windsor would be greatly appreciated.</div>
