<div itemprop="description">82 years, passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 18, 2016 at WRH-Met Campus. Beloved wife of the late Herman (1989). Loving mother of David (Bernadette), Daniel (Diane), Roland (Janice), Roxanne Lessard (Rick), late Janet Benoit (2000), Joyce Gauthier (Mike Bechard), Colleen Dufour (Tim) and Randy (Marie). Cherished grandmother to 23 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Yvonne is survived by sisters Regina, Pauline, Loretta, Theresa, Bernice, Corinne, Annette, brother Bernard and predeceased by sisters Alice, Beatrice, Agnes and brothers Aurele, Stanley, Norman and Lionel. Yvonne will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Yvonne was a charter member of the CWL at Good Shepherd Parish-St. Gregory Site. Also, throughout her life, Yvonne had spent many years volunteering for many organizations including the Canadian Cancer Society, Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, Tecumseh Health Care Centre and as a result of her efforts she received many awards of recognition. Visiting will be held at Marcotte Funeral Home (12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh 519-735-2830) on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-5 p.m. &amp; 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. to Good Shepherd Parish-St. Gregory Site for the funeral mass at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
